Landed Safely in North Carolina

We departed Ethiopia November 27 and safely landed in Charolette the next day. We are all healthy. Presently we are resting at a cabin in beautiful Lake Lure in order to quarantine before beginning our ministry debrief in Union Mills, NC.

"My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places" (Isaiah 32:18).

Ethiopian Civil War Update

After four weeks of fighting, it is being reported the federal government now controls the regional-state Tigray, meaning the civil war is not expected to continue on as a full scale war. It is yet to be determined if a guerrilla-style war will simmer for years to come. Lord, please grant Ethiopia's leaders wisdom and discernment to end the war swiftly. We ask you grant Ethiopians the ability to truly understand one another's perspectives, even value those perspectives, genuinely work toward building up their broken nation, and to forgive one another for Christ's sake. Please meet the needs of the vulnerable who are devastated by the war, including the tens of thousands who are displaced from their home. May your peace reign, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

What's Next for the Bradleys

Please keep us in your prayers as we:

  • Undergo a week-long ministry debrief at the Center of Intercultural Training in Union Mills, NC

  • Meet with SIM USA in Charolette to discuss all we've endured during our recent tumultuous term in Ethiopia

  • Spend time with family and supporters for encouragement and seeking the Lord's leading for our future

"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers" (1 Peter 3:12).
